hello
i gave my gmat yesterday and got 550(this was my third attempt, first was in jan 2014-500 and second was oct 2014-550) really disappointed with my score and want to give it one last shot.
i have been getting mixed reviews as to retaking the gmat. some say it shows badly on the application while some say it shows perseverance and never say die attitude.
please suggest.

My friend, I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. I would say, if you have some low scores, and then finish with a high score, you could easily spin that as a strong story ---"
I had perseverance and I finally figured it out." BUT, if all scores hover around the same zone, it's hard to explain why you were spending so much energy simply spinning your wheels. It's very much about the overall trajectory, as business often is.
