Hello, guys
I just took the gmat and scored a 620 with a 46q and 30v. I plan on retaking the exam ASAP and plan to study full time.
I bought the ESR and managed a score in SC (59 percentile), RC(55 percentile) and CR (53 percentile). I need to do a lot more work on all 3 sections. I plan to do all the questions in the blue verbal book and take a practice exam (repeat gmat prep, because I have already taken the 4 exams) and see how things are going. And probably read a book in two weeks.
My quant breakdown was: 47th percentile in PS, 95 percentile in DS, 71 percentile in arithmetic and 57 percentile in Algebra/geometry.
I guess I should focus my time on geometry problems and algebra? Its hard to know exactly what algebra is considering, given its such a broad topic.
Does anyone have any take on the 95 percentile in DS? I am a bit concerned because scoring another 95 percentile will be a bit hard, I need to elevate my PS percentile.
I wanted to see if anyone could recommend a course of action for both quant and verbal. Quant I would like to increase my 46 to 48, and verbal get at least a 34 or 35.
During the past weeks I have studied only gmat prep questions and from the OG only official material, I have a very good time mgmt strategy and I feel that it helped me a lot during the exam. I want to only spend time with official material, OG, green quant book and gmat prep problems. Can anyone guide me on a plan from 46 to 48?
best
Oloman
