Hi All,
After doing horribly on my first GMAT, I have been scared to even look at the books for over 2 months.
Although, lately I have been feeling that I am ready to give it another shot and this time want to be more active on the forum and take more advice right from the start.
For my preparation LAST TIME I had given 3 months of focused GMAT studies and had also joined a local course in India(Jamboree).
I am from an engineering background so my math is okay (48 on GMAT1), but I feel there is scope of improvement. As for English, till the very end I was
struggling with RC, and on the D-Day panicked and completely screwed my Verbal section(27).
Basically upon looking back, I have realized that I was more scared of the test than should have been, and the fear got the best of me. I was also not a 100% true to all the practice tests and was easily scared by them.(Range of prep-scores was 660-720)
Now, I need your advise to narrow down on the material and a schedule for the preparation.
Here is the list of essential material/tests/course etc, I am considering to buy:
1. GMAT Question Pack -1
2. GMAT Pill (Please let me know if I should reconsider, although this is fitting my budget)
3.
GMAT Club Tests4. Powerscore CR
5. OnDemand GMAT ? (It is a bit expensive, although this time don't want to miss out on any official content)
-- Material that I already have
1.
MGMAT Verbal Guides +
MGMAT Tests
2. OG12 & 13 + Verbal & Quant Guides
3. 1000 RCs & SCs.
Let me know, if I should make any changes in the list or maybe even add more . .
Once I have locked down on the resources, I will set a time schedule and share with you guys.
Looking forward to your advice.
Rohan
