Hi

I am retaking GMAT, i have access to 6 MGMAT CATs, 4 Kaplan CATs and GMAT Prep. the problem is i have already taken these CATs (eg: MGMAT all 6 twice) and now I am seeing atleast 30% of repeat questions.

Although I dont remember the answer for most of the repeats but still not satisfied with my practice scores. I took MGMAT this week and scored 770 but still no satisfaction at all as i saw more repeats

any advice on this

I do not have an answer; but a question from myself.
I d\loaded gmatprep1 and gmatprep2 from this forum. I have taken the two tests from gmatprep1 and one test from gmatprep (installed from the CD I recd after registering at mba.com). My question:
How many more tests do I have left before starting to see repeats? Should I take 2 more tests after installing gmatprep2 or just re-install the CD and take the second test?

Thank you for suggestions.

Since I bought several MGMAT books, I created different accounts for each book so I could have access to more tests. I can say with 80% surety that I did not see repeats in the exams across accounts. I bought the updated version of the SC book a week before the exam and I only used the question bank from, the practice tests have been left untouched. Since I have no use for those tests, if you want you can have access to that account.

Hello ISBTarget,

While most prep companies have fairly large question banks, given the number of test you have taken, I believe seeing repeats is unavoidable at this point. Although you may not remember the answer, you will be "familiar" with the problem. This will likely skew your score.

You're not giving us much to work with here. That being said, based on the above, it would appear you're giving too much weight to # of practice exams without giving content/material preparation its due time.
