Hi All,
Quick question: I took the GMAT last month and scored a 6.0 on the writing section and 680 on quant/verbal. I am retaking the test to break 750. My question is, can I skip over the writing section since I scored a 6.0 on my first test? Or will this look bad in the eyes of the AdComs? Please advise.
Thanks!
I would not recommend skipping the writing section. Worst case--the admissions officers can see a blank and think you're certainly capable, but you're so arrogant that you skipped it.
Obviously, I'm not saying you are arrogant--but you certainly don't want Adcom to even think that.
If you're going to sit in for the exam a second time, go all out. Shows better character, too.
Good luck!
