Hey guys,
I gave my first attempt in July 2014. I got 620 (50Q and 25V). This was the first test where i had messed up my verbal over one RC and hence the 25. My average score in the mocks was around 32 in Verbal. I had never touched 50 in quant though. My average score in the mocks ranged from 660-710.
Everyone told me to retake it within a month but due to obvious reasons (disappointment basically) i kept postponing it and started working full time. Its been around 8 months now and I have started my prep again for the last time (irrespective of my score this time). I just do not have it in me to go through this whole prep cycle one more time after this.
Good news is that since i paid for classes from the Princeton Review, i have access to those classes till this May. I shall be attending a few verbal classes over the weekends to brush up my CR and RC. However, the online forum is deactivated and I would have to pay a certain sum (~$60) to get access to their mock tests and drills again. Even once i pay that, I doubt that I would be able to re take the tests and the drills since the answers would already be highlighted. I am frustrated with the 13th
OG. I know the answer choices without even solving them now which is just sad.
I had also purchased the Kaplan book which gave me access to their online tests and drills as well. But now that I logged in again, I cant seem to re take them since the asnwers are already highlighted.
Keeping the fact that this would be my last attempt and I've had a lot of time to forget stuff like coordinate geometry, probability, etc , could anyone tell me what my plan of action should be ? Should i choose a date first (and if so, when ??) and then prepare accordingly ?
I also wanted to know that, among eGMAT, GMAT Pill, Manhattan or even the premier membership for Gmatclub (everything except Kaplan and TPR),etc which would give me access to the most mock tests and drills? i would rather pay for something new and equally reputed which I am not familiar with. Keep in mind that I don't want to enroll myself in their full courses again. All i'm looking for is access to mock tests and drills.
Please help !! I can't go through this disappointing cycle again and I really want to get it right this time, since I would be applying for the 2016 intake.
