Hey Scott!

I didn't get a chance to check out the trial. I did however gave a Quant assessment and got 18/31 correct. Had selected the 47-51 difficulty level and it showed that my initial level of preparedness is at medium.

I'm going to start with the TTP trial in the next 1-2 days.

Right now, should I focus on solving a question correctly irrespective of how much time it takes? (By that I mean, more than 2 minutes, and maybe dropping it at 4 minutes).

How do you think I could best utilise TTP if I go for the paid version?

Yes, just focus on accuracy for now, and do not worry about whether you are answering all questions within two minutes or less. In fact, it often makes sense to keep working on a practice question even after spending four or more minutes on it. One purpose of practice is to give yourself opportunities to learn how to answer questions, and if you have a basic idea of how to answer one, you can learn a lot by working your way to the answer, regardless of how long doing so takes.

Regarding HOW to use TTP, since you are already at Q47, I think you will be able to follow the accelerated study plan. By following that plan, you will engage in focused practice by taking many chapter tests. The results of those tests will expose your weaknesses. For example, let’s say you are working through the Number Properties module. In that case, you’ll take around 8 to 9 chapter tests on that topic. Once you complete the tests, you’ll have a clear picture of exactly what aspects of Number Properties (for example, Remainders, Units Digit Patterns, or Divisibility, to name a few) cause you to struggle. Once you see where you are weak, you’ll go back to the Number Properties chapter and read the lessons on those weak topics. That said, if you end up having MANY weaknesses (and don’t score very high on the chapter tests), that will be a sign that you need to go back and read the chapter in full. In other words, follow what the data is telling you. OK?
