Hi Karishma

Thanks for the prompt reply. I understand what you're saying about the three steps. Have started applying them. Hopefully it will show some results. I think these will help with areas which I have identified as my weakness. A quick question though, in terms of areas which I normally feel comfortable with, I still tend to go wrong when I am working on a timed test. Any thoughts on how I could improve on that? Is it just a matter of timing or is it because there are possibly easier methods to solve the problem which I am missing?

In terms of verbal I'm still not sure what are the strategies you are referring to for CR and RC. Could you elaborate on these as well.

One final question, in my practice phase would it help if I redo OG guide problems or is it better to do fresh sets of problems rather than repeating the same questions?

Thanks

If you make mistakes while solving under timed conditions, the pressure is getting to you. Always practice under timed conditions. If you are going to do 10 Quant questions, give yourself only 20 mins.
If you solve the questions correctly but take too much time, there is certainly an easier method out there. The solution will give you the easier way or you can put up the question on the forum and request the readers here to give you a faster method.

There are various "types" of questions in CR and RC. You should know exactly how to deal with each type. For example, if you have a strengthen question, you must identify the conclusion of the argument and then strengthen that. The correct option will give you some new information. It cannot be a rehash of what the argument already tells you.
Similarly, the correct option in an inference question can give you no new information. You should be able to infer it from the given argument and so on...
You should know such basics very well.

Fresh set of problems is always better but they should be GMAT relevant. You can revisit those OG problems in which you faced problems the first time around.

Hi Karishma

I watched the SC video and it was quite insightful especially the emphasis on Illogical meaning. I was wondering if there was a similar explanation for CR and RC questions as well? I also did some of the practice sc questions. I was wondering what is their level of difficulty? Some seemed really confusing so was wondering if you can give me an idea in comparison to the the actual GMAT.

Thanks
