Hi guys,
I'm starting to think about opening a retirement investing account - smth like Roth IRA...I wouldn't list the benefits of it vs. regular ones, as there are a lot of information on the internet...
has anyone opened such an account? I'm planning to open one with Ameritrade. I have been thinking of investing specifically in index funds (different ones - including EU/Asian ones), as the costs are very very low (from 0.05% to 0.95% per year)...
Do we have any professionals RIA? I'm pretty sure more people would like to know more...
p.s. the first rule of finding an advisor - look for a RIA, as they are obliged to be fiduciary...steer clear from those who are not, and who are double registered - reason, they will try to sell everything from which they will make a fat commission :)

opening a retirement investing account is a great idea everyone should do that, and you should visit some websites to see offers from different banks.
