Eli/bb - I checked yesterday, the discount codes above, for the Kaplan Quiz Bank, do not seem to be applying any longer. I wonder if the codes are still active, and if not, whether we have an alternative way to get a discount or the window has completely closed? Please provide an update.

I am sorry to inform you that the Question bank promo code has not been renewed and thus, GMAT Club members will have to pay the full retail price.

Thanks for update.

It is sad and I wonder why Kaplan has decided not to offer any discount...while $100 is worth paying for the questions, $200 is closer to the robbery, especially for those who would rely on them as a secondary source. After all, the competition charges much less for its question banks, which are better in many respects, particularly in math. Personally, I wanted to check out its verbal section which seems to be regarded well.

I think with this move Kaplan is probably alienating itself further from the GMAT community, though they probably do not care if they do. In any case, it is not the best choice Kaplan has ever made.

Kaplan Quiz Banks Review


Highlights:
- 1,001 questions of math (500) and verbal (501)
- split by 3 difficulty levels and question types
- Can take up to 50 questions in a single sitting (90 minutes is the allotted for that)
- You cannot control time; you can take the question in un-timed mode but you can't set the time
- You can take only unused questions or all of them
- You can select by question type (Assumption CR Hard questions)
- Tutor mode allows to review explanations while answering the question
- Detailed analysis and analytics are provided at the end of each quiz and a history is saved

Hey bb,

Bringing up an old topic... just wanted to check if the quiz bank questions repeat in their 6 practice tests?
I have attached the latest interface, as you can see there is a limited number of questions under each topic. Do these questions repeat in their practice tests?
If yes, I would definitely skip them to get a realistic score.
