Hi guys
I have planned to take my gmat during the last week of october.
Is it too late?
By which month does the admission process for major b-schools in USA, close?

I am a student pursuing mechanical engg. Can you please suggest me universities in USA which admit students without work experience for full time mba program?

I would be really grateful if you could let me know the details as soon as possible.

In US there are 3 Rounds for application.

Round1 or R1- Deadline is around Sep-Oct

R2- Deadline Dec-Jan

R3- Mar- Apr

It is only possible for you to apply in R1 if Your entire application is ready before there deadline. Else,You have to apply in R2,Which is good you will get time to write essays.

For accurate deadline check the university website.

That's generally right - the deadlines for the 3 rounds of admissions are around those time periods.

Ideally, you should take GMAT at least 2 months before the deadline - so taking GMAT in October will be just fine for R2 deadlines mostly in the first week of January.

It totally depends on univ to univ.. few mentions it that need atleast this much work ex and few are ok with freshers, provided gmat and rest of the application is good.

I would suggest you to check FT and usa ranking...shortlist universities, draft a quick mail regarding your queries ans send it to the admission department..They will reply ASAP.
