Hi all,

I have started preparing for GMAT 1 month back. I am planning to give exam in the first week of January.

Generally when is the deadline for applications to Universities. Can you please guide me with the timeline.

You will need to look at each school to find out. They differ a lot.

Generally, deadlines are in October, January and March. However, these can differ a lot, so you should look them up for the schools you are interested in.

I'm currently debating when to take the exam.Currently scoring at 710-730 level in GMAt prep and some other CATs.I could take the exam in a week.

However i have not been able to prepare much bcoz of intense work pressure. I know for sure that i could improve substantialy if i put in 1.5 months or more for the exam. Do you think that taking the exam in Oct/Nov with a higher score is better than taking it now with a lower score.

There'll be a difference of R1 vs R2 application..I am not sure - is it true that admit chances are significantly lesser in R2?
