100k is just too much. Which means you can potentially negotiate but Ross is somewhat notorious allocating all of their financial aid leaving very little room for negotiation.
What helps with tech recruiting these days and I don’t have a crystal ball to see what will happen in two years, is having previous tech experience or strong company brand name.
What I’m hearing is that if you don’t have relevant experience the recruiting is so bad for tech at the moment that even having an M7 name such as Columbia or Kellogg is not good enough to command an interview, so the difference between Ross and Tepper would likely be insufficient just because of how curtailed tech recruiting is at the moment....
