Hi all,
if the orignal sentence has meaning that contradicts with my extra knowledge in this field, and one of the answers corrects this contradiction, but changes the meaning of original sentence.
What must i do?
Relay on my extra knowledge or stick to the original meaning?
Also, where is rubicon between "original meaning that should be maintained" and "ridiculous orignal meaning that should be changed"?
Please explain.

Stick to the original meaning. GMAT do not consider anything more than the given info.

The genuineness of the "extra knowledge" is critical, although, if considered to be true has no impact on the GMAT, in which only the given content matters.
