Hi,

I want to understand, if we know All the integer in S1 is even, and no matter y in s2 is odd or even, the x+y will be even. Why we can’t answer A?

Hello,
I don't understand when you say no matter y in s2 is odd or even.

Just so we are on the same page, if one term (x) is even then you need to know the value of y is even or odd to determine x+y will be even or odd.
Only an even value when added to even value will result in even. Even value added to odd value will result in odd.
You can always try with easier numbers if you don't want to remember these rules. I still do.

I hope that helps
Thank you!
