The original sentence has a verb tense error. Have migrated is in the present perfect tense, which is used to indicate that an action began in the past and is continuing. However, the centuries, in the past, were characterized by nomadic wandering.

Choice B incorrectly uses the past perfect had migrated. This event did not occur before the centuries, it occurring during these centuries.
