Hello everyone - this is my first post on the forum. I found this site a few months back and have been impressed with the postings that I have read. I recently began studying to take the GMAT in March/April of 2009, and have used much of the advice I've read here to help me put together a plan. Thus far I have the following resources:
Manhattan GMAT 2007 - All 8 books
Official Guides 10 and 11
Official Guide Verbal (most recent edition)
Official Guide Math (most recent edition)
Princeton Review: Cracking the GMAT 2009
Kaplan 800
Access to the 25 math tests on this site
My general strategy is to spend 3 months going through the books and answering the questions in each. The next 3 months will be devoted to eliminating areas of weakness and taking full-length, timed tests on the computer.
I feel that these materials will be sufficient to help me achieve the score I want on the test. However, I've heard from others that keeping an
error log is vital. Does anyone have a tried and true
error log in excel that they could post here? I think that would help me (and others) a great deal. Thanks - I look forward to contributing to the forum over the next 6 months!
