It really kind of depends what exactly you are looking for. I've been a northern California resident all my life but have tons of family members in San Diego, including some who are currently doing their undergraduate studies in business at San Diego State. It's a decent regional school, but it somewhat has a reputation as a party school (for both undergraduate and graduate studies). If you want to do an MBA in SoCal, you probably want to check out UC San Diego, University of San Diego, UC Irvine, or one of the L.A. schools as well.
