A should be ok.

because one ..... another is correct expressions to express the difference among more than 2 items....

1. if there are two items/nouns/things in the list-------- one ... other.
2. if there are more than two items/nouns/things in the list-------- one ... another.

I'll go with A. There's no problem with the sentence. We need 'different from one another". A and B have that, but B sounds very awkward in the later part of the sentence.

IMO - should be C

It is easy to narrow down b/w A and C - one another is correct

C correctly refers to plural - various breeds of dogs.

OA please ?

I would choose A. One another is the correct usage
B) it is flawed because of usage of each other..Each other is used between 2 things...

I would choose A simply because,

The first part of the sentence is decended (simple past) so the last part needs to be They had common ancetor, it is refering to a past statement. so A is correct.
