OA is E. I am unable to understand this SC completely. what is it trying say exactly. No doubt call is between C and E..but why is C incorrect?

between C and E.

C fails b/c it compares Soil of a forest, air, degree of moisture... this is not parallel. air of what? moisture of what? it is not clear what these refers to. to 'a forest' or something else?

E compares forest's soil, forest's air, forest's degree of moisture...
