In my opinion C.
The verbs believe and participate are parallel. clear and concise.
A. Use of perfect tense is unwarranted in this case.
B. Use of If
D. Awkward and ungrammatical, Class that were all girls.
E. Awkward and changes meaning(?), "in that situation"
