There are many benefits to timing your practice, including:
It says on page 200 that "The helping verbs would and should should never go in the if part of the sentence, according to the GMAT!"
Can you please put a little thought into that?
Then again, page 211 - correction of exercise 4 - says "Never use would in an if-clause"
This has got me really confused, because in many cases (Unlikely case in the future, for example), the helping verb would is supposedly allowed as in the sentence bellow:
"If Shopie were to eat pizza, she would become ill". See? still an if-clause with the use of the word would.

"would" and "should" are not used in the "if clause". They can be used in the "then clause".
"If Shopie were to eat pizza, - if clause she would become ill". - then clause
