It's clearly (C). E was the only other answer choice that came close, however "media" is plural and "in their analysis of" is passive/wordy.

Nope, that is a common mistake. Media is the plural of medium.

Going with C here....

has is incorrect here while have is correct (media is plural) , also notice the sentence uses "they" after the comma :-D
