i think E gives a picture that surveillance system can interfere with pacemakers but it is the magnetic field interfereing with pacemakers.
My take is 'A'.

I agree with A

In E, "and can interfere with pacemakers," doesn't apply to the magnetic field. So, it is wrong.

Guys,

Could you try the SCbelow? Please explain your answer.

Q20. Researchers have announced that the magnetic fields emitted by one manufacturerтАЩs security surveillance system, of which type there are 200,000 worldwide, can interfere with pacemakers and that this interaction can bring on missed or irregular heartbeats, nausea, breathlessness, dizziness, and even fainting.

A. of which type there are 200,000 worldwide, can interfere with pacemakers and that
B. of which, worldwide, there are 200,000 of that type, and which can interfere with pacemakers, and
C. of which type there are 200,000 worldwide, they can interfere with pacemakers and
D. 200,000 of which type exist worldwide, interfering with pacemakers, and
E. 200,000 of that type existing worldwide and can interfere with pacemakers, and

Another vote for A

Researchers have anounced that x can...., and that y can ... <- sounds parallel to me.

"of which type there are 200,000 worldwide" also correctly modifies the surveillence system.

Guys,

Thank you all for your explanations.

I had picked A too before posting this SC. The Referenced (Not official ) key is now A. (It was D, WHICH IS NOT CORRECT AT ALL beacause of "interfering with...")
