I just came across this option on page 14 of my on-line application form.
"Please upload a copy of your transcript following the instructions below...
-If you are scanning an image into your computer, try setting the scanner to use the lowest possible resolution to keep the file size to a minimum. Remember that the final image still has to be viewable and legible if there is text.
-Resize the image to be as small as possible. Remember not to make it so small that you can no longer see the details on the image.
-Convert the image to save using a high-compression format. Bulky formats such as bitmaps (.bmp) can be converted to jpegs or gifs. This can cut file size by 50% or more.
-Use the “cropâ€
