Hi Admissionado

Thanks much for your time on this, sincerely appreciate it. And I totally agree and concur that predicting this isn't feasible, but I'm just trying to get an idea. Can you please help me with these questions?

1. Do you think Georgetown offers better tech placement than Rice does considering my post MBA goal is Product Marketing?

2. I was under the assumption Georgia Tech has a great tech presence considering MS. Will that not seep into MBA outcomes?

3. Can I also consider Vanderbilt Owen? Is it better than Rice (my current admit) for my post MBA goals?

Eager to know your thoughts!

Since you already have this acceptance with 75% scholarship (congrats!) in place, you should really just give UT McCombs and Georgetown McDonough a shot. Those are excellent programs. Georgia Tech is also great, but not considered nearly as strong as the other two.

If others respond, I am sure they will tell you that it's nearly impossible to predict your chances of admission with the information you have provided. If you want to share more of your profile, that can help, but also keep in mind it's no guarantee of anything. It's just an educated guess.

Good luck,

A: Yes, but that's just a high-level answer. I'm not sure if the difference is THAT much greater.

2. I was under the assumption Georgia Tech has a great tech presence considering MS. Will that not seep into MBA outcomes?

A: I'm not sure I understand your question about "seeping" into MBA outcomes. That said, yes, Georgia Tech has good engineering/operations placement. It's just not as overall well-regarded a program as the others. It's also very Southern focused in his recruiting.

3. Can I also consider Vanderbilt Owen? Is it better than Rice (my current admit) for my post MBA goals?

A: It's about on par. I'm not sure you would be dramatically improving your position for your post-MBA goals. At that point it comes down to wanting to be in TX vs. TN and other factors exclusive to the school.
