I was recently offered scholarships from two of my very closely ranked schools (Both are top 15) One was big (70%) and one was small (10%). Unfortunately, the latter is the school that I want more. I was accepted during round 2. Have all of the scholarship offers been handed out at this point? Is there any room for negotiation now with my preferred school?
If there is no room to negotiate now...one idea - I put down deposits at both schools, and wait for the deposit deadline to pass, essentially let some of the offers go unaccepted. Can I then try to negotiate, stating that I have deposits at both schools and in the best interest of my family it will be difficult to pass up the other offer? I would not be bluffing at that point and if they get upset, I can always attend the other school and wouldn't particularly be upset taking a 70% scholarship at a top school.

You can definitely try to negotiate! Won't always work but you won't know if you don't try! You've already been accepted, so no reason to over-think politely explaining that you would prefer their school but school B offered x and it's difficult on the budget etc... congrats btw!
