Hello, everyone.

I face a dilemma and need your advice. I do not have enough work experience (only 22 months) for MBA, so I think to apply for MSc program (in finance). I consider apply for US universities. However the issue is that I can study only if I get a full scholarship or fellowship. So, the question is:

Are scholarship opportunities in MSc programs as much as scholarship opportunities in MBA programs?

1) If the answer to question above is "yes", I will apply for MSc programs;
2) If the answer to question above is "no", I will probably wait an additional year and then apply for MBA programs.

I am looking forward your answers.

Thank you all in advance! :blushing:

Short Answer - Depends (On the universities, your profile and background etc)
My suggestion would be to get in touch with a consultant who can analyse your profile well and give u a better idea. Generally first basic call with a consultant is free.

Do let me know if u need any contacts of a good consultant. (PS - Just trying to help you out, I have no personal benefit in it)

Scholarship opportunities dependent on the GMAT score and profile. Differnt Universities may offer different levels of financial assistance.

All the Best.

Thank you!

Hello kvmrvn,

Thanks for writing in.

Scholarships depend on the merits of your profile as well as the schools you are applying to - so, one can never be sure. Both MSc and MBA programs hand out scholarships.

The correct way is to identify which degree you need to further your career graph and then proceed accordingly.

All the best!
