Breaking down the information presented in the stem into various keywords present in the options.
Premise/Background: Science is concerned with claims that can be checked independently and objectively.
Conclusion: Hence, the claim itself is scientific.
Evidence: The object drop experiment claim
Inference: I believe that conclusion is something which is explicitly stated in the passage (using words such as Hence, Therefore etc.) and inference is something like a logical deduction we have to make basis the information provided in the passage.
Going by the above, we can clearly see that Boldface 1 is our premise for the argument while Boldface 2 is our conclusion of the argument.
Hence, only option B is the correct option.
