Hi guys,

I need to score a 500 on the gmat and need to purchase an online course. I have been studying for 3 weeks.

Any tips are helpful. Obviously I would like to score higher but due to the limited time, I need to settle with a 500.

Might be worth checking out a few free Official Questions and taking an Official Mock (2 are free) on mba.com. You may already be at a 500+ level.

Hi Anacristyp

Although by setting 500 as your target, you might be missing out on the potential you have to reach 600s but you can try TTP for Quant (Just stick to their Easy and Medium questions and you'll definitely score a 500+).

Do try their 5 day free trial and see for yourself. Cheers! :)

Hi Anacristyp,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) Over the last 3 weeks, how many hours have you typically studied each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) Have you taken any practice CATs/mocks yet? On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) When you say that you "need" a 500, what does that mean exactly? Will earning a 500 'guarantee' that you are accepted to a particular Program? And how do you know that?
5) What application deadlines are you facing and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
