My second score was only 530, I'm very disappointed with this result. Though I took only one month for the first Gmat exam (in 27 Aug) and another one month for the second one (in 22 Oct), I almost did nothing except studying in those two months. I did these hastened exams because I wanted to finish my application submission as soon as the first round. Finally I dropped both application submission rounds. Now I'm applying for another program whose deadline is the November 30, and I want to improve my Gmat score in hope of getting a portion of scholarship. If I try my best this time and eliminate every distraction, can I reach 700 score before Nov 30? This seems to be impossible, doesn't it? I still want to consult your opinions. Please comment on my situation.

It is difficult to give you advice without knowing more about your background. What was your first GMAT Q and V scores, second GMAT Q and V scores, what materials have you used to study, are you a native English speaker, etc.?

Thanks, I forgot to tell that. My first Gmat is 460 with Q38 and V17, my second Gmat is 530 with Q40 and V23. I'm not a native English speaker so that's why my Verbal was so bad. I worked on Gmat Prep, Official Guilde 10 and question banks of Manhattan gmat. I also studied the Gmat grammar book of Gmat club, lessons and tips on forum members. It always took me out of time to finish all questions, so I may need better strategies to manage time; And in the exam, I always felt dizzy looking at long paragraphs of RC and took long to understand what I was reading. Thus I may have to practice reading more, but I'm out of reading sources.
