Scored 480 on Mock Test. Can I hit the 720's ?

Question

I gave a try in the Sigma Series of Mock Test before my preparation and I scored a 480. 
I am looking at 2-3 months of preparation with e-gmat course. Is it possible for me to hit the 720 mark? 
How much efforts should I put to do the same?

No test prep company could successfully model its scoring algorithm after the GMAT Prep. Therefore, I would strongly advise you to take a GMAT Prep practice test, to gauge your verbal performance. All the best!

hello,

first i advice you to take the gmat official practice exams(they give you 2 exams for free upon registration on mba.com). gmat official practice exams are the closest simulation to the real exam.take one of them to see an accurate simulation of your real score and keep 1 of them for later after you finish your prep.

second step : a lot of practice. e-gmat courses are good but i strongly advice you to buy the official gmat books too because as i said no one knows gmat better than gmat official makers

3 month is enough for preparation but you have to study 4 hours/day.

final hint: check gmat club mock tests, they are harder than the average gmat question. believe me you will find the gmat questions easy after you practice the hard stuff gmat club tests provide.

3 months is a good amount of time for GMAT preparation, but better take a gmat prep exam ( we get 2 free exams)from the site as a base line score. E-gmat is good for verbal not sure for quant . for Quant TTP is best .

I shall go ahead and take the GMAT prep practise test right away.

1) 5-10 hours in SC at E-GMAT 
2) Q33 and V24 
3) In the month of October preferably 
4) e-gmat & OG 19
