Hi,
I have scored 490 over all with 41 in Quants and 12 in verbal. I'm planning to take up my exam in May/June but wit such a low score in verbal, and average score in quants, I don't know how to go forward. Please need expertise guidance, it would be of great help. Thanks in advance.

Your quant looks healthy but your verbal is way off the charts. It seems you need to dedicate the first 3 weeks to verbal. If you follow the GMAT Pill 1 or 2 month study plan, you would need to dedicate approximately 10 days on your weakest verbal section, then another 10 days on your 2nd weakest verbal section, followed by another 10 days on your 3rd weakest section.
It looks like English is not your first language -- you should review grammar lessons first, then reading comprehension which focuses on transitive phrases and "ideas" across paragraphs. Lastly, critical reasoning will be a challenge but if you can break down the question stem into the key parts and visualize what comprises the argument in the question stem, you'll see improvement.

We recommend that you use sim tests as an important tool for improving your overall test performance by practicing better time management and guessing strategies, and for learning from your mistakes. However, we suggest that you ignore the resulting score reports on any non-official practice test. The GMATPrep tests provide a decent prediction of your score (with a +/- 30 point variance due to test day conditions and pure dumb luck), which is why we recommend doing these last to get an accurate measurement of your post-prep status, but even these can be tricky. After taking a few exams you should see your range for the real test.
If you plan to take the GMAT in late May or early June, you should already be prepping. We recommend that students study for 8-12 weeks which is enough time to complete our course: https://gmat.economist.com.
We also offer a 50+ or 70+ score improvement guarantee, so please do check us out!
