Dear all,
I gave my 1st GMAT attempt without proper preparations and scored 600 (Q47 V27) on 23rd Sept 2017. After which I joined E-GMAT verbal online course and it has helped me improve my SC. I studied for 3 months of which 90% time I spent on Verbal. I have 6 MGMAT tests and scored in the range of mid 600. I gave Kaplan and Veritas free online tests and scored 650 in each. Previously, before my first attempt, I had given 2 GMAT prep mocks and scored 520 and 600. I gave those 2 test again after 3 months in December and scored 640 & 710. Finally, I gave GMAT again and scored 600 (Q42 V31).
Need genuine help form this forum. I have seen people struggle and I see myself as one of them, having no direction. Please help and it would be appreciated if we can get in touch offline as well.
The plan you are going to make now will need some good tests. I strongly recommend that you get the 2 exam packs (GMATPrep practice tests 3-6).
Yes, I am planning to purchase that pack, but as of now, I am not aware what preparation I should do? How should I study? Sorry, I forgot to mention my study plan in detail. Here it is:
-Completed E-GMAT verbal online course as suggested by the course (helpful for SC) but while giving my test I found sentences were very difficult then what I had been practising.
-For Quant, as I had previously scored Q48 in my first attempt, I just focused on my weak part P&C and coordinate geometry. I gave 5 mocks and in all, I scored Q>46 (Manhattan and 800.com) and Q48 in GMAT prep.
I watched all Magoosh Quant videos as well to brush all concepts.
I feel confident of getting 650-680 but I was scared during the test. And now I am demotivated. But I want to try again and score 750.
