Scored 655 on GMAT official mock, how should I plan going forward?

Question

I gave the GMAT official mock today and scored 655 QA 87 VR 82 DI 78. How should I proceed further to maximise my scores in all the sections. I know that I can improve my score on DI by practicing the questions and learning the basics as this was the most unfamiliar section for me in the mock. But how should I prepare for VR in GMAT I gave CAT 2024 and scored 95%ile in VARC but VR for GMAT seemed a lot more difficult to me as we have to attempt 23 questions in 45 minutes. I used aeon essays to read one article from it daily to prepare for cat, shall I continue doing that for GMAT?

According to the consensus, if you hit your target score at least thrice while simulating actual test conditions, you are good to go.
But for safety keep the target at least 40 points above the average of your target school.

If there are certain types of Verbal questions you find a bit challenging or time-consuming, consider including/mentioning them. For CR assumption questions, for example, the negation technique could be helpful to check out. If you feel your fundamentals are solid, working on your solving approach may also be helpful. Perhaps include working with a study buddy who is really strong on Verbal to see how they process/go through passages and questions. Someone like that who's looking for help with Quant could be a good fit given your Q87.

So, the good news is that you are in a pretty nice spot!

That said, you do need to continue to find your holes and fix those to help improve your score. Thus, engaging in topical practice is a great way to do so. Let's use quant as an example.

For example, let’s say you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.

After each problem set, it's crucial to delve into the questions you answered incorrectly.

For instance, if you stumbled on a remainder question, take a moment to reflect. Was it a careless error? Did you fail to apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that eluded you? This analysis is key to your learning process.

By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant, verbal, and DI topics.
