Hello all,
Put about 3 months into studying. Materials:
1. Kaplan Premier
2. Kaplan Math
3. Kaplan Verbal
4. PowerScore Sentence Correction
5. Kaplan 800
6. GMAT OG Verbal
7. GMAT OG Math
8. GMAT OG 12
9. Manhattan GMAT SC
Took 7 practice exams:
GMAT Prep #1: 700 (Q45, V40)
GMAT Prep #1 (again): 690 (Q46, V 40)
MGMAT #1: 680 (Q47, V36)
MGMAT #2: 680 (Q48, V35)
MGMAT #3: 640 (Q43, V35) Didn't finish Q in time
GMAT Prep #2: 740 (Q50, V40)
MGMAT #4: 650 (Q44, V 35)
Thought I was doing fine on the official GMAT prep tests compared to the MGMAT tests, so expected scores similar to that. Guess I was wrong.
Now I am not sure what to do to proceed. Would definitely like a 700+ score. I was thinking of taking up Knewton on their 50 point guarantee, but I wanted other people's thoughts.
What do I do?

You should work on your verbal. I was in the same boat but score a lot better than in prep test. (e.g GMAT prep was 750) but score 690 first time. I was able to better it to 710 in the next attempt but verbal was my weak point.
In both the attempts my quant was 50.
Your score in MGMAT is not varying much in quant but MGMAT prep test scoring for 1/2/3 is something you should rely on. There scoring algo is not something I would recommend to rely on. My score were always above 690 with them, with all but one in 700 range, highest being 750.
Just focus on verbal and maintain the current level in quant. You will be able to better your score big time.

Like the previous poster has said, if you improve your verbal, your score can pass the 700 level. I would also suggest you to work on your math (not as much as on verbal though). But as far as math is concerned, you have to decide for yourself if it's reasonable to put in it more effort. If you have already spent a lot time on it, I don't think you can achieve an increase without considerable effort.
If you have an error log and your errors in math are evenly distributed between various topics and there is no pattern, it'd be very difficult IMO to get rid of them. If, on the contrary, there is an area in which you make more mistakes than in other areas, working on it can help your quant score.
