Re: Scored 670 on 1st GMAT - Retake or not? [#permalink]
Since you have already scored 700+ in gmat official prep exams, I think it would be best if you give another attempt.

You might have scored 670 just because you were feeling under-pressure. You should prepare a little more and give mocks of some institutes.

An obvious question that hasn't been addressed, why wouldn't you retake the exam? Are you concerned about the cost of the exam or the time spent studying? Most programs (MBA and other-related masters programs) usually consider your highest score.

As everyone before me has noted, it'd be one thing if you were far apart from the 700+ threshold, but you're not. These exams have an element of randomness to them. For example, a reading passage might not hit you the right way or your timing on a couple of math questions could throw off your rhythm. That could account for a 20+ difference.

Give it another shot and good luck!
