Hi All,
I have written my Gmat test today and scored 680 (q49 and v33)
but my IR is scored 1 (I am highly embarassed, i had a severe anxious, headache in IR. I just solved a couple of questions and randomly marked my answers for the rest in order to get a long break so that I do not screw the rest of my test), I thought I would score atleast 3.
I am sure no one would have got an IR 1 score
Anyways, I am targeting Kelly school of business (Indiana University) and UC Berkley (Haas school of business).
Please advise what score should I get to have an admit along with a decent scholarship for these two schools.
Do I have to reattempt, considering my overall score(680) and IR- 1 score ?? what is the extent of significance givrn to IR score in the admission process??
How important is it to apply in the first round for most chances of getting an admit along with decent scholarship?? Can I apply with this score and tell them I would reappear and send the score later, if so, would they still consider me in 1st round??
My background- I am an Indian female, IT engineer with 3 years of experience.

If you are interested in Berkley and/or getting a scholarship at Kelley, I would strongly recommend taking the exam again. You are well below the average at Haas, and just above average at Kelley so it might not likely that you get a scholarship.

Agreed - just to have a shot at getting in at those programs you need to retake the exam. The raw score isn't high enough, ignoring for the moment the IR score. And your chances of a scholarship at Haas are almost nonexistent (sorry) - if you want to line one up at Kelley, you'll need to be more in the ~720+ range, FYI. Oh - and you absolutely do need to apply in R1.
