Thanks for your reply. I do want to go back to school next year, but will wait and re-apply next year if I don't get in. I think I need to take a few months off from the GMAT to re-evaluate my strategy if I need to take it next year.... Maybe I'll get in without taking it again! I am also applying to Chicago Booth Part-time program...
My first GMAT score was 680 (Q 49 and V 34). I wanted to cross the 700 mark and slogged for another 6 weeks but ended up with a 620 (Q47 and V29). I have been scoring well in my mock GMATs (i took 2 tests of GMAT prep and the 6 mock cats of Manhattan) and i steadily crossed 700. My worry now is not about crossing 700 but having landed up with something so low.. I m really upset and I dont know how much this 620 would affect my application if I go ahead and apply hoping that the schools would consider only the best score.. My focus is on ISB, XLRI and few schools in Singapore..
