I gave a practice test and got a score of 44 in quants and 34 in verbal with 10 and 15 questions wrong in the sections respectively. I wanted to know if the score is accurate or if it is flawed. Can someone help me out

Here are some pointers on why you may feel that your score is inaccurate though it may not be. The article is written keeping the Veritas Practice tests in mind but the basic principles of the points discussed would be the same if the practice test in question uses an algorithm similar to the one used by GMAT.

https://www.gmatclub.com/forum/veritas-prep-resource-links-no-longer-available-399979.html#/2016/06 ... ems-wrong/
The points discussed in detail are:

- The number of right/wrong answers is much less predictive than you think.
- Of the “ABCs” of Item Response Theory, Difficulty Level is Only One Element (B)…
- Question delivery values “content balance” more than you think.
- Some questions don’t count at all.
- Every test has a margin of error.
