So, I took the GMAT yesterday..that place (Pearson) has more security than the Pentagan (trust me, I know!).

Anyways, here is how it turned out:

48Q - 86%
36V - 81%
690 - 91%

Question is: How does the 91% come from the combination of 86% and 81%? Also, is 36V bad?

I am applying to Michigan (my alma mater)!

I figured out that the Quant score is pretty good. But, no one has really answered my question about the percentiles and the Verbal Score.

I am applying to the Ross School of Business (evening program) at the University of Michigan.

I think your GMAT score is competitive for part-time MBA at Ross!..

The reason the overall percentile is higher than either subscore is that a high score on either subsection is more likely than a high score on both sections at the same time.
