What is your GMAT quant score? Is it good? Then maybe submit. If you don't plan to submit your GMAT score, then what are your quant scores from undergrad?
Like they're going to want to see some proof of numeracy, and so I'm hoping you have B or better grades in statistics or calculus or other math related shiz.
If you have neither then I think honestly I would probably wait. They just want to know that you are going to succeed in class and not dropout costing them a lot of money.
If you do, next question,do you have the time to do a proper job of the applications, meaning that your work schedule will allow? I'll just say this it's a lot more work than you think it is.
If you can't work on this over the weekend evenings if you're traveling a lot for your job then forget it.
Also, you would need to make sure that your recommendations are all sorted that these people are available accessible and willing to help you.
So if you do have the quant proof, and the time, go for it. I think it would be best to work with someone. That said, I think this is advisable for every candidate and not doing so is bringing a knife to a gunfight.
However in this case even more so, so that you can advance with a lot of certainty, speed, accuracy and form a critical path for everything.

="mewalczak33"]Hi Everyone,
I watched a video from
Magoosh earlier today which suggested that some of these round 4/extended deadlines for schools this year could be a good opportunity for some to apply this year rather than wait until next year's application round, which is expected to be more competitive.
There were some good points in the video and I encourage you to watch it for yourself because after I finished it, I am questioning whether or not to scramble to apply this year or wait until next year still.
Some quick background, I took the GMAT a few years ago and scored a 680 and am currently studying to take it in July because I feel I need a higher score to be competitive at top schools. Target score is 720 but obviously that is a goal and not reality.
28, male, Caucasian, 5 yrs professional work experience, consumer goods, name brand company that sells to Wlmt, TGT, Amazon. Undergrad GPA 3.3 (Dean's honors list), Mech Engr, Top 15 Undergrad Program.
Anyway, some of the schools I was planning on applying to next application round (Booth, Darden, Goizueta, Ross, Kellogg) have extended their application deadlines so ultimately I'm looking for some opinions from this forum on if based on my current standing I should apply and while my GMAT score (and probably GPA) aren't as high as the should be, I could still have a better chance at acceptance compared to applying next year.
Thanks!
