I need to pick btw SDA Bocconi Master in Corporate Finance (1 Year program, not Msc finance) and ESADE Msc Finance.
I have 4 years of work experience, (capital markets&project finance) and i passed CFA level 1&2. (I am hoping to earn the credential this June)
My aim is landing an investment related job anywhere in Europe, but I will need a work visa plus I dont know any European language at Professional level.
I have heard that Bocconi has solid reputation in London, but is this limited to 2 years msc finance program? I did a little search on Linkedin and SDA Bocconi did not seem that good.
Since Netherlands is granting work visa for a certain period of time and English may be enough to work in Netherlands, I am considering University of Amsterdam too (I missed the RSM deadline)
I know that Amsterdam is not respected as bocconi or esade but the I have a dilemma btw reputation and practical matters...
I am really concerned about visa issues and language, what should I do?

Hey there,
I think you are a little confused about the countries that you want to target.
So are interested in Europe, Australia and the UK ?
Here is the 101 on school and country targeting:
Finalize the countries where you want to work for atleast 2-3 years post your degree
Target the top 5-7 schools over there, as all the major companies will be recruiting from there
As far as Bocconi and ESADE are concerned,both schools have a good brand in their respective countries, so I would say that they are almost at par with respect to the brand. Yes, Bocconi has a record of placing graduates in London, so this might interest you if you are specific about working in London. In this context, you should think about looking into a few UK Schools as well.
Secondly, about university of Amsterdam, yes brand-wise it is a notch below Bocconi. I personally don’t recommend compromising on the brand if you have a better option.

I would definetly pick ESADE.... I have never heared of the One Year Corporate Finance Program from Bocconi (class size 32) while ESADE's Master of Finance is well known. A Factor that you should definetly consider is that Barcelona is a much Cooler city than Milano.
I believe that the ESADE Brand (as well as Bocconi) is strong enough to get you a job in your favorit country anywhere in Europe.Your passed CFA exams will definetly help with that as well.
Like Abhyank already said, you should become aware of the country you would like to work after graduation an then deal with the work visa processes there.
