There have been a number of questions about receiving a second MBA so it seemed time to have a compendium for this topic.
MIT
I already have an MBA. Am I eligible to apply?
Candidates with previous MBA degrees are eligible to apply. These candidates should, however, detail the reasons for their pursuit of a second MBA degree in the application.
Penn
I already have an MBA. Can I apply to Wharton?
Yes you can apply. We do not exclude candidates who have an MBA or any other graduate degree. You should, however, explain your reasons for desiring a second MBA in your application.
Stanford
Can I apply if I already have an MBA?
Although those who already have an MBA are eligible to apply to our program, this is not encouraged because of the general nature of our course of study and the likelihood of significant duplication of study. You may wish to review our course offerings listed to see how much of the program would be repetitious. Then if you decide to apply, you would want to use Essay B of our application to explain why you would want to have another MBA degree and particularly at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
UC Berkeley
Am I eligible to apply if I already have an MBA degree from another university?
University policy prohibits the awarding of duplicate degrees. We are unable to consider your application if you have an MBA or comparable degree from an institution of higher learning.
A Postgraduate Diploma (PGDM) awarded by the Indian Institutes of Management at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, and Lucknow (2 years beyond bachelor's) is recognized as a basic or first degree.
UCLA
If I already have an MBA, may I still apply to the UCLA Anderson MBA Program?
If you have already completed an MBA program, you are not eligible to apply to any Anderson MBA program.
Dartmouth
Can I still apply for the Tuck MBA if I already hold an MBA from another school or country?
Tuck will not accept applications from individuals who have already earned an MBA. If you hold a similar graduate degree, but not an MBA, from another country, we will consider your application; however, you must provide us with an additional essay explaining why you need an MBA in addition to your current degree.

If you earned an MBA from another college or university within the U.S., you are not eligible for admission to Stern.
UVA

Is it possible to receive an MBA from Marshall if I have already earned an MBA?
Marshall offers an MSBA program that is available only to those applicants holding MBA degrees from American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited institutions. A minimum of 26 graduate units is required for completion of the MSBA degree. No more than two courses or eight units may be taken in graduate work outside of the Marshall School of Business. An evaluation of an applicant's previous work determines whether or not preliminary courses are required. If it is determined that preliminary courses are needed, the number of units required to complete the MSBA degree will increase, and such units will be indicated on the official evaluation form.
Vanderbilt
Note that the Vanderbilt MBA program does not admit applicants seeking a second MBA degree or a similar graduate management degree, regardless of where the first was obtained. Exempt from this policy are graduate management degrees earned at a college or university outside the U.S. in order to satisfy the four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree requirement. Also exempt are master’s degrees that focus on a specific functional area of business (such as accounting, finance, or management information systems) and do not offer a broad general management curriculum typical of the MBA degree.
Washington University
The fact that you have completed an MBA in a different country does not prevent you from being considered for an Olin MBA. However, we will pay particular attention to your essays and would expect you to clearly explain why you want an additional MBA. You have already indicated one of those reasons in your question. Another common reason why someone might want to pursue an Olin MBA is the opportunity to include some practical classes along with the more typical lecture or case-based classes.
Penn State
I already have my MBA. May I still apply to the Smeal MBA Program?

Can I apply if I already have my MBA?
We do not accept applications for the MBA degree programs from candidates who have already completed an MBA in the US. These candidates may apply to another Weatherhead degree program. Weatherhead offers the Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior and Operations Research.
Can I apply if I already have another graduate-level business degree?
If a candidate has completed a graduate business degree other than an MBA (Master of Commerce, Chartered Accountancy diploma, Post-Graduate Diploma in Management Studies, etc.) AND the program was two years in length, it is recommended they apply to Weatherhead’s accelerated/11-month MBA program (if pursuing a full-time MBA).
If a candidate has completed a graduate business degree other than an MBA in a program shorter than two years, the typical transcript evaluation will be applied to determine whether the student must take Weatherhead’s 2-year program or whether (s)he is eligible for the accelerated program.
Michigan State
Can I attend your MBA Program if I already have an MBA?
