Thx!
skewed, u r posting scary images.
just apply pithagoras theorem and u will get isosceles triangle. with two sides equal to 6. then then it is C. 63 inches. or 5 ft. 3in
It must late or something but how does the hypotenuse of an isosceles right triangle w/ two sides = 6inches equal 63 inches?? a^2 + b^2 = c^2; 6^2 +6^2 = c^2; 72 = c^2; c= sqrt (72) or 6*sqrt(2).
the sides are not equal to 63 inches but once u drop the perpendicular it becomes one of the sides the equal to 6. then the second side is the fraction of longer side of 240 in. which is 6. now the perpendicular dropped at B divides 240 into two 120 halves. then 120-6=114. then what is left is another twe equal halves of 57.
eventually it is 57+6=63 in
hope it is fine now. but there might be an easier way to solve it.
