Hello All,
I joined the club a few months back, vacillating between the ideas of going for an MBA or not, and recently decided to allocate 10 weeks to study and take a crack at the GMAT.
I've done quite a bit of research on the site, and I've found the information to be tremendously helpful. I do have one concern at the moment, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Based on my reading, besides the OG11 and the Manhattan SC book, people's opinions tend to variate as to what other prep material are good to have. After reading over the posts, I have come up with the following list:
OG11
Manhattan SC
GMATPrep from mba.com
PR's Cracking the GMAT
The 1000 SC/RC/CR questions
This will be my first time preparing for the GMAT, and I would like to know if these material would suffice to give me a thorough preparation? If not, what other material should I obtain? If yes, in what order should I approach them (diagnostic test 1 from GMATPrep, then PR, then OG, followed by SC, and lastly 1000)? Also, I've read that there are the verbal and mathematical OG books; should I purchase them as well?
Personally, I believe I'm a disciplined self-starter, and have not been long removed from the campus scene (2 years). My plan is to devote 1 to 2 hours a day on the weekdays, 5 to 8 hours a day on the weekends, and spend whatever other free time I have here. If there is anything I'm missing/could use to improve my plan, please let me know, and I'd very grateful.
