Most likely the reason for the scores going down is that it’s been a pretty extensive time and you’re slowly losing your skills and knowledge that you acquired in the past. It’s like a leaky bucket longer you run with the bucket the less you have at the end and you’ve been running for a while…

I’m sorry about the situation. It’s hard because you getting killed by 1000 Papercut basically little things that get forgotten or dropped off here or there. The only solution is to work at the brisk pace and review the materials, mistakes and make copious notes to regain all those sites you’ve learned and started to lose. I think ideally you would take eight weeks or less since you should know most of the material and just need a refresh…. May not be the welcome message so I’m delivering it.

Thank you, BB. I understand what you are saying. I have decided to attempt another mock tomorrow and then make my decision about cancelling. With the recent news of my layoff, I thought it would be better for me to go fully prepared. My main reason for considering cancelling or rescheduling was to save another attempt, as this will be my 4th. I feel my verbal score is within the expected range and won’t improve much even with more preparation, but Quant and DI have lots of room for improvement.

Got it. Thank you for the clarification and I’m sorry I missed that this was your fourth attempt.

Depending on the timing, since you can only take five in 12 months, and eight total, I think rescheduling makes sense. I have changed my mind, you have convinced me 😇

PS. Ugh. Sorry about the layoff by the way.

I'm sorry to hear about your layoff. I'm also happy to provide some advice. Did you end up taking the practice exam?

Hello Scott,
Thank you for the message.
No, I didn't attempt the practice test, wanted to save it for later.
However, i ended up enrolling at TTP :).

Yes. A simple one -
To follow the laid out instructions at TTP to the T.

As BB mentioned above, which I agree with, my brain has lost the ability to perform well in the exam due to my inconsistency. So, I am aiming to develop that ability again, along with gaining "missed" knowledge/lessons, if any.

If you have any suggestions or advice, I'm all ears. Thanks!
