Hi People

I am in dilemma whether to join any institute or study by my own. I want to take GMAT by December (as I have read that 3 month study is enough for GMAT and there is a GMAT study plan of 3 month ). I have been reading posts and debriefs from various people and understanding what they did and what is best.

Yet, I know I am not good at Quants (though i am an engineer) and at verbal. Should I use stuff available here and start my studies or should I join some institute in my city.

Can anybody please help me what to do... :?

Other's debriefs can only give you the various options available. They cannot help you pick one of them. You need to decide based on what works for you - how much personal attention you need, how do you study best etc.

People use various methods such as self study using OG, self study using a prep test package, online on-demand video courses with study packages, online courses, in class courses and private tutoring. What you should use depends on your needs. If you study well on your own, self study could do the job. If you need frequent guidance, an online/classroom course would be right for you. If you need undivided attention, private tutoring is the way to go.

Its great if you are thinking to study yourselves.
But the thing is while self study you have to be aware about all of things about GMAT, what you should prepare and what not to, what's the best way, tips and tricks to solve the problems in minimum time still be perfect answers.

If you have good enough idea of all above, go for self study. Otherwise go for some GMAT preparation institute like PythaGurus to prepare well with less efforts.

Thank you all for your guidance.... I have been reading about GMAT Study plan

I am thinking to first go through basics, like manhattan GMAT basic guides and then take up practice questions. I might take more than 3 or 4 months but then I will build my base strong.
