(B) The percentage of senior executives’ pay increase in 1990 was larger than for- "than for" is incorrect
(C) The 1990 increase in pay for senior executives was larger in terms of percentage than - Increase compared with wages
(D) In 1990 senior executives had a larger pay increase in terms of percentage than did- Than did should have been followed by the doer comparable to seniors.

=> unparalleled comparison - comparing "Senior executives" with "the wages"
=> (A) could be rewritten as: "Senior executives had a larger percentage of increase in pay in 1990 than other salaried workers did"

(B) The percentage of senior executives’ pay increase in 1990 was larger than for
=> the use of "for" makes no sense
=> unparalleled comparison - comparing "the percentage" with "the wages"
=> (B) could be rewritten as "The percentage of pay increase of senior executives in 1990 was larger than that of other salaried workers"

(C) The 1990 increase in pay for senior executives was larger in terms of percentage than
=> Unparalleled comparison - comparing "increase in pay" with "wages"
=> "in terms of percentage" is wordy
=> (C) could be rewritten as "The 1990 percentage of increase in pay for senior executives was larger than that for other salaried workers"

(D) In 1990 senior executives had a larger pay increase in terms of percentage than did
=> unparalleled comparison - comparing "senior executives" with "wages"
=> "in terms of percentage" is wordy
=> (D) could be rewritten as "In 1990 senior executives had a larger percentage of pay increase than other salaried workers did"

=>Correct: paralleled comparison - comparing the pay of senior exe with the wages of salaried workers
