looks like C to me

IMO we need "next day"

after seems redundant in A and B.

having had conveys the meaning.

Its definitely between B and C but I would go for B ( although C doesn;t look very bad either)

A changes the meaning and so does D and E.. they don't very clearly conveys the maning of very next day..

Between B and C.. B is more to the point ..
